John needs a plumber. Unfortunately, John doesn’t have any friends or business associates that are plumbers, to his knowledge. He accesses google and enters ‘plumber’ as his search criteria and hopes that the businesses displayed in the top results provide a good service, are trustworthy and will not overcharge. Unfortunately, the top results are often determined by SEO methods that have nothing to do with the metrics that John cares about when selecting a plumber. The results are also geared to websites, not necessarily to product or service providers.

With WOMConnect:

John needs a plumber. Unfortunately, John doesn’t have any friends or business associates that are plumbers, to his knowledge. He accesses WOMConnect and enters ‘plumber’ as his search criteria. Search results are displayed based on who he knows (and who they know) that provide plumbing services, endorse plumbing services and/or can provide special pricing for plumbing services. John can then real-time message the relevant connection with a query, message the business with a query or access the business profile for more information and contact details.

Using WOMConnect, John discovers that his friend Mary was happy with a plumber that she used recently. John can immediately see Mary’s endorsement, message her with any questions or obtain further info on her experience before contacting the plumber. He can also view the plumbers profile page and see other endorsements they have received, including from within his connections.

John can also see that his work colleague Mark has a connection that provides plumbing services. John can message Mark to ask for an introduction, or perhaps special pricing.
